Program Description
This educational conference will focus on the current trends and innovations in the care of cardiac surgery and ECMO patients. New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the NYP Department of Nursing Education and Continuing Education aim to provide an innovative program, so that practitioners can help impact the best outcomes for adult cardiac surgery and ECMO patients. Faculty and staff will address the best clinical practices in cardiac patient care. This program will include panel discussions to facilitate attendee participation.
This activity is designed for nurses and advance practice nurses.
Learning Outcome
At the conclusion of the program, participants will able to:
Describe advancements and innovations in research, technology, and treatments significant to the care of the cardiac surgery and ECMO patient.
